What I Actually Use — My Kitchen Kit & Supplements
By Caroline Grey, Founder of Craft Your Body

The final week of the Reset
Week 4 of the Midlife Reset is the one you've been asking for — the things I actually use myself. Nothing here is sponsored, trend-driven or included because a brand asked me to. Every single item below is something I've bought with my own money, use in my own kitchen or take myself, and would recommend to a friend.
To be clear, these are just some of the products I use — I rely on a whole range of supplements and bits of kit, and I'll share more of them as time goes on. What you'll find below are the things I've invested in over the last month or two and have been genuinely delighted with.
I keep this list short on purpose. You don't need a cupboard full of gadgets or supplements — you need a small number of things that genuinely make eating well and feeling good easier to stick to.
In the kitchen
Good food habits usually fail on logistics, not willpower. These are the bits of kit that make cooking well realistic on a busy week.
Dual-Drawer Air Fryer (PFAS & chemical free)
I bought this after months of looking for a healthier air fryer. This one is PFAS and chemical free with a non-toxic coating, and the twin XL drawers make easy dinners — protein in one side, vegetables in the other. I'm genuinely delighted with it. One honest note: it's big, so you'll need some counter space.
View the one I useThe matching air fryer cookbook
There's a cookbook that goes with the air fryer and it's full of recipes and ideas — really useful when you're getting started and want inspiration beyond chips.
View the one I useGreen Pan ceramic non-stick pan
A healthy ceramic non-stick coating, free of PFAS. Again, a healthier way to cook — non-toxic cookware matters when you're using it every day.
View the one I useNinja Blast Max portable blender (570ml)
I bought this recently and took it travelling. It meant I could keep blending my protein shakes from my hotel room — add ice and fruit and blend, wherever you are. The perfect travel partner, or for busy people on the road. Available in other colours too.

Supplements I take and recommend
Food first, always — but a small number of well-chosen supplements can fill the gaps that midlife, training and busy lives create. These are the ones that have earned their place.
Hunter & Gather Collagen Peptides
I love that it's grass fed, unflavoured and tasteless — I add it to my morning coffee, so it slips straight into my routine. Types 1 & 3 for skin, bones and joints, no fillers, no additives, no sugar, dissolves easily and it's dairy free.
View the one I useFree Soul Magnesium Glycinate 4-in-1 Complex
I recommend magnesium to all my clients. It supports muscle recovery and relaxation, calms the nervous system, helps sleep, and replaces what you lose through sweat when you train. Most active midlife women are running low without realising it — this is one of the simplest things you can add.
View the one I useBodyBio Butyrate (Sodium) — postbiotic
For gut health and microbiome support — digestion, bloating and leaky gut repair. No fillers or additives, and the capsules are vegan. If your gut is unhappy, this is worth a look alongside the food basics.
View the one I useOptimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Isolate Whey
Available in chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. I add it to warm or overnight oats with some sliced fruit on top and a sprinkle of chia seeds or granola — an any-time-of-day meal that actually keeps you full.
View the one I useOptimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine Monohydrate
5g a day, every day. I've already written a full article on why creatine is one of the most researched and most underrated supplements for women in midlife — muscle, bone, brain and energy.

One more useful bit of kit
Resistance bands deserve a mention too — a genuinely useful, inexpensive bit of kit for warming up properly and activating your legs before a session.
CFX Resistance Bands — 3-pack, non-slip
A genuinely useful, inexpensive bit of kit: a set of loop bands in three resistance levels, non-slip so they stay put around your thighs rather than rolling down. I use mine for leg activation and mobility work before training — crab walks, glute bridges, leg raises, banded squats. To be clear, they're not a complete workout on their own and they're too thick for shoulder work — this is lower body kit. My own set is out of stock at the moment, so this is the closest equivalent I'd happily buy again.
